Neuropsychomotor therapy is a form of rehabilitation intervention that aims to reorganize the balance between motor, neuropsychomotor, affective, cognitive and neuropsychological functions, through the privileged use of play in individual and/or group situations. The intervention, through a comprehensive and early approach, aims to:

  • support the integration of perceptual-motor functions

  • promote the organization of emerging skills and the modification of atypical behaviours

  • develop the potential present and increase the sense of efficacy and self-esteem

  • stimulate the processes of reorganization and regulation by favoring a harmonious development.

The therapist also collaborates within the multidisciplinary team in drafting the functional diagnosis, the functional dynamic profile and the individualized educational plan. Neuropsychomotor skills also intervene in the educational-preventive field by supporting the child's abilities within specific and individualized pathways.
